Feeling Rusty?

Does it take a while for you to get going in the morning? Are your joints stiff and achy when you first wake up, and take a few hours to loosen? Stiff, tired joints can leave you feeling and acting older than you are.

Motion is Life. If you let anything sit in one place too long, it's bound to freeze up like a rusted bolt. Spinal joints, subjected to long standing fixations (Vertebral Subluxations) are no different. That's why maintenance chiropractic care is so beneficial. Adjustments unlock 'stuck' joints before they become painful, arthritic, and frozen in place - the longer you wait between visits, the more work required to get them moving again.

Like rusted bolts, chronically fixated joints take TLC and more frequent adjustments to become free again. If you want to avoid the hassle, the smart move would be to visit your Chiropractor regularly and not let them get that bad in the first place.

Casts Don't Heal

If you were unfortunate enough to break a bone, you know what it's like to get casted. With a little repositioning and some skilled plastering, the fracture is stable. After a few weeks when the cast comes off, you're just as good as new. So did the cast do the healing?

Plaster casts and Chiropractic Adjustments have something in common... neither one can heal you. Sure both may be necessary after an injury. But they can only create the environment necessary for healing to take place. Casts align broken bones so they can mend; adjustments align misaligned vertebrae to optimize nerve flow---but it's the innate healing power of the Life inside you that scripts the healing.

The next time you come for an adjustment to instantly ease your headache, your sciatica or your sleeping problems, understand it's not the adjustment that produces the result. Adjustments simply create an environment conducive for healing. The doctor inside you is the one who does all the work.

Not So IN-Dependent

In a recent Mayo Clinic study, researchers determined that nearly 70 percent of Americans are on at least one prescription drug, and more than half receive at least two prescriptions. Twenty percent of U.S. patients were also found to be on five or more prescription medications. When it comes to health, Americans aren't as free as we think we are.

Chiropractors believe true freedom comes from IN-Dependence---relying on the Power that made you, to heal you and keep you well. IN-Dependent Chiropractic patients know they innately possess what it takes to heal. they trust in the wisdom of their bodies to handle what ails them instead of running to the medicine cabinet for every cough or sniffle. They're the 30% who would rather give Mother Nature the chance to do her job, than usurp her roll with drug intervention.

Big Pharma won't stop advertising and pushing their products until we're 100% dependent on them. this Fourth of July when you're celebrating our country's freedom, take a moment to reflect on your body's freedom as well. Are you truly as IN-Dependent as you want to be?
