The objective of chiropractic is to locate and correct vertebral subluxations which are misalignments of the spine that interfere with the function of the nervous system. Vertebral subluxations reduce the body's ability to do everything including, but not limited to, healing itself. Once these subluxations are corrected by a chiropractic adjustment, the body is able to function better and in ways that are not typically associated with a sore back or neck.
Chiropractic adjustments are completely safe. In fact the body adjusts itself thousands of times a day every time it moves. A chiropractor steps in only when the body is unable to adjust itself perfectly. There are multiple chiropractic techniques that can be used to effectively and comfortably adjust the spine.
Chiropractic very simply, yet powerfully, lays a solid foundation for the body to perform as well as it can. Whether symptoms are present or not, everyone is always better off with a good nerve supply than with a poor nerve supply caused by vertebral subluxations.
